Seems a bit on the high side, but it depends on how far they had to come, I guess...

Makes sense, Tiarnan: if someone else has already paid for the guy and truck to come then 20 leva is a good deal for both the extra customer and the truck-driver. Next time you know to look out for the same scenario and get your 20 leva's worth.... Wink

He came from vt about 20 mins away.. I was kinda expecting 100 lev or so.. it's not been emptied since we bought the house and we had no idea how big the tank was. Not enough research done I know.. but the click was ticking for our return home and we kept meaning to get it done each visit...

Jenny our first charge was 75 leva - then after 2 years it dropped down to 50 leva if it was emptied twice. Then being a bit wise I asked how did he know when the tank/lorry was full and he showed me a plastic clear level tube on the front of the tank. Ahha...so after that I could judge how much shit he had pumped out!! - But 50 leva a load seems to be the settled price - pumping for about 5 mins or so..

As I wrote Seedy......it was ten years ago and nkt been done since......neither has my neighbours. Smile. He,s probably waiting on me getting the truck out again. As it happens did,nt even need it done all those years ago........had a blockage which we thought was a septic tank problem........turned out just the usual........crap......pun intended.......sewer pipe work which had to have redone. All water under the bridge now........or water off to the tank.

40 Lv this side of Varna Lake Krysia, has been that now for several years.

I know that last year the authorities clamped down on emptying the lorry load into the main sewer through a manhole cover. It now has to be delivered to a proper unloading place, maybe they now charging the drivers per load where as previously it was a free fall into a manhole cover.
