Now I'm back for a while, tonight I'll be whipping out the trusty spiralizer and whipping up some pumpkin spaghetti, served with either a proper bolognaise sauce or, more likely, pan-fried garlic Pacific Prawns. Just need to choose the wine...... Smile

Do you live in Bulgaria, Tony? It's very labour intensive making clotted cream here, I've done it!

Lunch, being cooked by my eldest, is bacon, eggs and homemade hash browns.

I have no idea what dinner is going to be. Anything except chicken. Maybe home made burgers or chilli con carne.

Thanks to yesterday’s showers we had an abundance of huge snails, Wow they were everywhere! I manage to fill a bag about 2 Kgs. A good wash under the tap and in the pot with onions, LOADS of garlic, parsley and tomato sauce. Never seen bigger snails than here in Vromokolarovitz. Where are those minute tiny winkles that we used to buy at the street seafood vans? Now these are WINKLES with capitals. A few chips and a couple 100grms of Ouzo and this is a lunch to write about at the ex-pats site! Oh sorry I Forgot the Yrk pudding! Wink

They are just bigger than the winkles they sell at the seafood vans, and cleaner than the porks and horses you find in Iceland... French eat them from year dot. Everybody with their tastes... I had frog legs, and not before too long, the way that our politicians playing with our lives, we will all be forced to eat snails, worms and slags. So we might as well start like them early. Exclamation
