As I seem to be among the minority (maybe the only one) who doesn't like snow, I have looked at two online forecasts. According to one, we are getting snow from Monday night right through until Wednesday. The other one says Monday a little snow, Tuesday a little morning snow. This is for VT of course.
So do you use an online weather forecast that you find pretty accurate?

I use accuweather, and find it very accurate. For Pleven it says there will be a bit of snow on Monday for Pleven.

https://www.sinoptik.bg/

Punch in the above, find your region and seems good enough for me.

Dalivali is, usually, pretty accurate....

I normally use Wunderground. Sometimes I find it pretty good, other times not so much.
For next Monday it says in VT we are getting my favourite weather (not) snow.
So I looked at Accuweather, that says mostly cloudy. Amazing it can be so vastly different.
Then I went with Seedy's suggestion and looked at Dalivali and that says snow, so two out of three, I take it we are getting snow.
It might sound like I'm obsessed with the weather, I'm not really but I do like to know when the snow is coming as I love it so much. Rolling Eyes

I've used all of them and NONE of them are that accurate for my actual region. I watch the BTV channel's morning forecast (when I remember) they use Dalivali, but it regional coverage.

I have no idea how the Bulgarian Meteorological Service determine their forecasts or who's satellites they use, but most of the APP weather forecasts I get are coming from Burgas Airport some 70+ kilometres away and where the weather is usually far milder than where I am located.

One thing they do usually get right is the wind speed, gust speed, direction and chill factor, but their cloud coverage, precipitation, visibility and dew points can be well off the mark and IF/When you're outside most of the day with your animals then, you need a good idea of what weather to expect and how to dress or even where to stand/sit out of the wind.

I get better results from 'Red Sky at Night' and 'Red Sky in the Morning' that anything else. Wink

No long johns so far Mr. Seedy. I only got hypothermic one day when getting too wet, but was able to retreat back home to the Petchka, hot shower, a hot coffee laced with whisky, change of clothes and back out again.

I have NO IDEA what is in store for us for the rest of this winter, but it has been really mild so far in my area and almost tropical in comparison to last winter here - today, I actually nodded off on a Sun Lounger albeit, I was nowhere near to being in my SPEEDOS.

The Boss gave me instructions to wash a lot of linen and big thick blankets this week whilst the sun is shining; I've done 75% of it so far, but by the time I have finished all of my chores and get around to brining it in off the washing line, it is already damp again. Never mind, I will try to get the linen in and the blankets out tomorrow before the Boss returns. Rolling Eyes Wink Laughing

"Petchka", Mr Pussy-wolf? Very Happy

We still haven't turned any heating on Chez Nous: thanks to the new insulation our kitchen and sitting-room haven't dropped below 3 degrees so far this winter, which also means we can leave cat-proof comestibles out, so we have more or less unlimited fridge-space...

I need the ASH. Rolling Eyes Wink Well, I do place the ash around the slabs outside the inner walled area where the Sheep are churning up the surrounding area.

I think that someone once said that 19 degrees Celsius is the ideal indoor temperature and as most days when the weather is decent, I leave (wedge) the doors open and open a couple of windows to give the place a good airing, but by the time I get back at around 5pm for my evening Whisky/Whiskey and the sun goes down, it gets a bit nippy and I like to have the fire going and anyway, it is the ideal receptacle for all used cartons, papers etc. and also serves as my plate warmer and butter softener. Wink

I haven't switched on the underfloor heating once this year as that works out expensive, but I put down some off cuts of outdoor carpeting for the winter so that the dogs are not sleeping on a cold floor and it gives me some insulation to my feet too.

The fire will have gone out anyway an hour or so after I have gone to bed so then it is 2-3 quilt time. I don't like being cold for long, but I detest being too hot.

I like yr.no

It gives specific forecasts per village in my experience, and tends to be right!
