I'm with you on that Jake, too hot for me as well and taking it easy is the best thing to do in my opinion. I just hope that Mrs. Jake hasn't got too much to do while you are laying back.
Thanks for reminding us it will soon be winter, NOT. I don't like the winters here either.

This heat has bought back Lily's Lichen Planus just when I thought she was winning. Avoided a bar meetup in the name of the heat but I just preferred to remain home when my other half is feeling down.
Fortunately it is merely 36C on our north east facing balcony this afternoon

Yes, I over did it yesterday under the full sun and feel a bit off today, but still, chores have to be done and animals don't understand a human complaining about the weather when their needs require attending to and more importantly, in this drought, spring planted shrubs and fruit trees are demanding water or, shrivel up and die. Laughing

Roll on winter, I can dress correctly for that, but walking around semi-naked trying to do jobs that have to be done is risky from many points. Wink

Was out in the Iveco on Saturday as she needed her oil change and a few other tasks needed her large flatbed. No aircon of course and the hot air hitting my face through the open windows was like facing a powerful hairdryer.

I'm obviously not meant to be a Bedouin. Rolling Eyes

Sorry to read about your better half Cliff, hope she gets back on the road to recovery once it cools down somewhat.

Let's hope the Bulgarians don't have the same idea as the Sicilian 'volunteers' in these warm times!

It is said that the Sicilian Mafia emerged from the protection racket based on control of lemons when they were first introduced to the island as commercial crops at the end of the 19th century!

I don't know what the weather is like in other parts of BG but here near VT it has still been nice and today in particular was very warm but supposed to be colder next week. It is October though, so one of my neighbours has had his fire on for a while now. Rolling Eyes
Anyone else felt the need for heating? I know Mr. 'Eskimo' Seedy won't have. Wink

We set up our propane and electric heaters about two weeks ago. Only used them several times since then, but not had any need for the last week.

No way, ZZ - although we have been getting gassed by the smoke from our neighbours' petchkas for some time now... Wink

I'm still in t-shirt and shorts mode but, as you say, it's supposedly going to be down to around 10 by the end of the coming week. I suppose we'll have to think about a blanket on top of our sheets some time soon! Very Happy

Down in Sozopol for a few days, the weather is glorious and not a tourist or a inflatable bed to be found.

Twas shorts and T-shirt for me yesterday in Burgas, but it did get a little nippy when the Sun went down and we had a nice Fog during the night, but nothing like a Pea Souper. Laughing
