Thought I would start a thread about Kaufland - as against Lidl. Been shopping there more recently and find that there are many interesting products which Lidl do not stock.
However I would point out that Kaufland is not the cheapest accross the board...But we have found Polish lasagne - 1 Kg 5.99 - very tasty - egg Liquer ice cream - different and also very tasty - cat food - very much cheaper - and the cats like it. Their many promotions seem good value as well..

Anyone else have views etc..

If you had used the search facility, there is already a topic about Kaufland.
Much bigger stores, therefore many more items and they do have some good offers sometimes.
They are owned by the same company that owns Lidl but run very differently and I have heard we are getting a Kaufland in VT, though no idea when that might be.

I've found that Kaufland have, obviously, a bigger range than Lidl and some interesting deals. That said, I've also found that when they stock the same stuff as Lidl their prices are often considerably higher - as always, caveat emptor... Wink

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Like I said, no idea when it might be. Correct about the site though. They have knocked down the unfinished building that had stood there for a number of years.

we have a kaufland magazine delivered every week, and they do have some good offers, but you do have to go on the Monday to be sure they have them, this week lots of 50% offers, on Heinz tomato sauce and cirio sauces and bread rolls only 0.19, and you can get bread from there that freezes well, we tend to split between lidl and kaufland .

Had some scratch cards from Kaufland and were told to go online to check the letters/numbers. Well searched their site and cannot find where to register or to check the letters/numbers.
Any ideas? Confused

A friend found that regardless of if you fill out the form in EN or BG, when you send the form it has to be in BG mode and not a translated page.

If a person's Bulgarian language skills are that bad that they cannot read or fill out the questions which are basically, their name, address, email and telephone number then they shouldn't be buying scratch cards in the first place. Rolling Eyes
