Not necessarily: May's busy trying to cement her place in the history books while balancing the interests of party and indeed of the whole Political Class. No doubt it's also no easy task to juggle her inclinations as a pro-European with what she thinks the hoi polloi expect as proof that their notion of "democracy" is alive and well. Unfortunately, she - and most of the Westminster Rabble - seem to have lost sight of the interests of the country as a whole...in her place I'd just remind the country what Representative Democracy is all about and that a captain's job to ensure that the Ship of Fools doesn't just sink without trace. Cool

However, jumping ship at the end of June is still a possibility and, given the way the whole dog's breakfast is playing out, I don't think that anything can be ruled out - including an "accidental" Brexit or another referendum.

If we have another referendum and say no, again, it will go the best of 5.

Another update re driving after Brexit -

UK licence holders who live in the EU or EEA
While the UK is a member of the EU, you can exchange a UK driving licence for a local EU or EEA licence. You should do this if you live and drive in an EU or EEA country.

From 31 October 2019, if there is no EU Exit deal, this licence exchange arrangement will stop. Instead, to be able to continue driving, you will need to re-take your driving test in the EU or EEA country where you live.

Some countries will continue the licence exchange arrangement after the UK leaves the EU.

You can exchange either a UK photocard or UK paper driving licence without taking a test, if you live in:

Bulgaria, within 1 year of registering as a resident

Brexit is clearly a wonderful idea - our “political leaders” have emphatically demonstrated that they are well-qualified to lead the country and that they only have the interests of the people at heart, regardless of their own careers and party loyalties.

How lucky Blighty is to have such principled “guardians of the nation’s sovereignty”...... Cool
